Aleksandar Stoicovici is a Romanian multidisciplinary artist of Serbian and German heritage, born on May 26, 1988, in Timișoara, Romania. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and European Studies, as well as a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication from West University in Timișoara.

He has authored two collections of poetry: vineri (2011, Herg Benet Publishers) and aleksandar doarme (2012, USR), and has served as editor for various poetry anthologies. His poems have been translated into several languages, and he has collaborated with literary magazines from the United States, Australia, UK, Germany, Romania, Argentina, Serbia, Slovenia, and Hungary. Additionally, he co-authored a book of interviews with survivors of the Romanian deportations during the Communist regime, titled Dunărea Deportaților (Povești de viață din Bărăgan, 1951-1956).

Since 2015, he resides and works in southern Germany, where he pursues his career as a graphic designer and art director.
